London is one of the finest cities in the world to visit and the summer months always get so booked up in advance.  Many guests come with their families and require larger apartments of two, three and four-bedrooms.  These apartments types are popular and demand for such certainly outweighs supply, so we thought that the following guide may be useful if you are planning to stay in a larger apartment in London this summer.   To ensure our clients have first refusal, here are five of the best luxury serviced apartments in London for the five star guest;

51 Buckingham Gate Apartments

Located minutes from Buckingham Palace, 51 Buckingham Gate serviced apartments offer five star accommodation in prestigious surroundings. On site you have all the facilities of a five star hotel including butler service, 24 hour room service and the excellence you would expect from a Taj hotel.  On site is the Michelin starred Quilon restaurant which is the sister restaurant to the famous Bombay Brasserie.  Buckingham Gate also has beautiful courtyard gardens with fountain, a spa, private dining and grand  banqueting facilities.

Beaufort House Apartments

Beaufort House serviced apartments is a small five star property located in the heart of Knightsbridge.  Not only are the apartments lovely and spacious and of great quality, the location is perfect!  Literally a 3 minute walk to Harrods – you can’t ask for much better.  The apartments are serviced daily and have 24 hour concierge.  Each apartment has been designed to the highest specification with deluxe bathrooms and fitted kitchens.  An added benefit in the larger apartments is that they have a separate dining room as well as the reception room – a bonus that many other apartments do not have.  Beaufort House Apartments achieved a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor last year and prior to this achieved a Gold award in 2010/2011 from Visit England for the exceptional quality or their accommodation. The staff on site are excellent and our guests return time and again to Beaufort House apartments.

They do have a minimum stay of 4 weeks in June, no minimum stay in July and 2 weeks in August.  Beaufort House apartments offer one, two, three-bedroom apartments and they do have a four-bedroom apartment also.

Cheval Gloucester Park Apartments

A really good block of apartments from the Cheval Group who, across the board, have an excellent range of luxury London serviced apartments suited for all types of traveler be it on business or pleasure. Cheval Gloucester Park deserves a feature as they have a real home from home feel and are located in a quiet, residential area.  The staff on site are excellent and really look after their guests and you also have a gym and parking on site too.

The minimum stay in the summer is normally 4 weeks, however this can be flexible subject to availability.  Cheval Gloucester Park apartments offer one, two and three-bedroom apartments.

Cheval Knightsbridge Apartments

These well established five star London apartments have and excellent reputation and they have recently refurbished their apartments on Cheval Place so have even more to offer guests.  They do get extremely busy for the summer months and have a minimum stay of 6 weeks.  Having said that, if you are coming for a long summer stay, book an apartment at Cheval Knightsbridge and you will certainly not be disappointed!  Excellent standard and unbeatable location.  Do always contact us for shorter stays too as we can always recommend some of their sister properties such as Cheval Gloucester Park Apartments or Cheval Thorney Court Apartments.

The Grosvenor House apartments by Jumeriah Living

After many years of waiting by patient guests, the five star Grosvenor House apartments by Jumeriah Living are finished, available and extremely popular.  Opulent, distinguished and very well appointed as you would expect, these stylish apartments offer luxury living in Mayfair.  Full five star hotel facilities are available such as a gym, 24 hour concierge, room and butler service.  The location is perfect being in the heart of the West End with all the stylish shops and boutiques in Mayfair, along with Park Lane and Oxford Street and Mayfair’s array of restaurants, cafes and bars.

Arlington House Apartments

Arlington House Apartments we feel are probably more four star than five, however this is only in terms of the onsite facilities and those five star finishing touches.  We still feel that they deserve to be featured in ‘The Big Five.’ You have a porter on site and you have maid service daily, but it is the space that is excellent and you would have trouble finding such spacious accommodation in the heart of the West End. Many apartments overlook Green Park and have balconies or terraces and if you are travelling with your family, you cannot beat the room sizes offered at these apartments.  In terms of location, Arlington House apartments are literally right next door to The Ritz Hotel and the famous Le Caprice restaurant, so an excellent location.

The minimum stay in the summer is 3 weeks.  Arlington House apartments offer studio, one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments.
